Last Friday we filmed a love story that was so much FUN! The couple chose the Museum of Play in Rochester, NY as the back drop of their love story. This fit this couple so well. Alison & Sean were fun, energetic and love to PLAY! Check out a few of the shots we took during the day. Stay tuned for the post of their “Love Story”.
When you think wedding in NY state, you think usually think May – September. But it seems, some brides are thinking out of the box when it comes to picking the date for their wedding. More and more brides are scheduling there weddings in the winter, on or near holidays, which in the past was a no, no.
We recently filmed a December wedding and it was stunning (and the decorations were all done by the bride! Wow!

One of the most interesting things I saw this past summer was when the bride and groom washed each others feet. This was in replacement of the traditional Unity Candle Ceremony. It was modeled after the portion in the Bible in which Jesus displays serving others and washes His disciple’s feet. This really impacted me. Isn’t that what marriage is truly about, caring so much that you humble yourself and you put your spouses needs before you own? (Even if
It’s not unusual for the guests of the wedding to be represented during the ceremony. Most often the minister/priest/rabbi (or what have you) will say something like, if you object to this marriage speak now or forever hold your peace (and everyone stays really still and tries not to make any noises), or the friends and family are asked if they will support the marriage (and the guests respond YES we will!).
This past summer we filmed a wedding that
Here is another awesome cake idea. Everyone has seen a wedding cake and knows that a little bride and groom figurine is usually placed on top. What was so different about this cake was that it had the entire bridal party on the cake! A small (and super cute), replica of each bridal party member was molded from fondant. The bride and groom were placed on the top and all lower layers contained the bridal party replicas. The cake was
We filmed a wedding a couple of months ago with Turner Music Productions in Rochester, NY. Afterwards we spoke with Steve Turner about putting something together to showcase a little of what they do at TMP. If you are a couple getting married around Rochester, NY these are the DJ’s you want to use, hands down. Check out the video to see what we are talking about.
Wow, I never even thought about this or ever would have, but at a wedding we recently filmed the bride had pockets in her dress. If you watch the video above you will see that the bride is using the pockets to store tissues. What a ingenious idea! Tell me who doesn’t love a secret pocket (I know how silly this sounds, but it’s the truth). What an amazing idea! Pockets! Perfect for tissues, mints (not gum! editing out gum
At many weddings I have seen ice sculptures, but at a recent wedding I saw something a little different, an ice luge. Some of you may say “What’s an ice luge?” If you didn’t attend many frat parties during your college years, you will have no clue. Basically, an ice luge is a large piece of ice with a narrow channel carved through it. Liquor is poured into a channel at the top of the luge, and a few seconds
You may be thinking why should I get two videographers for my wedding day? Won’t everything be covered by one videographer? Well yes and no. A second videographer is more than just a second camera angle, a second videographer can allow us to do things that would be impossible with just one videographer. Here is a short list of reasons on how your wedding
