Ice Luge

At many weddings I have seen ice sculptures, but at a recent wedding I saw something a little different, an ice luge.  Some of you may say “What’s an ice luge?”  If you didn’t attend many frat parties during your college years, you will have no clue.  Basically, an ice luge is a large piece of ice with a narrow channel carved through it.  Liquor is poured into a channel at the top of the luge, and a few seconds later an icy cold drink is dispensed at the bottom, in to a glass (or directly into an awaiting open mouth, if you are at a rowdy frat party :).  The ice luge I saw recently was beautify carved making it an amazing focal point.  So, give the guest standing at the bar (you know that’s where they’ll be anyway) something to talk about.
