Meagan & Chris’ day could not have been more beautiful for their lake wedding. It was absolutely perfect for a boat ride and that is just how Megan and Chris greeted their reception guests. With a boat ride across beautiful Skaneateles Lake. Megan and Chris first met using a different mode of transportation. They met on a bus. A school bus on their way to seventh grade (adorable :)). From there they went to dances and dated through high school. They went their separate ways in college only to reconnect at a friend’s wedding. In Meagan’s word “Chris called me the next afternoon and everything just fell into place.” Their proposal story begins with yet another mode of transportation. A bicycle ride through Letchworth State Park. (This just happens to be the same place Jim proposed to me – Single ladies get your guys to Letchworth State Park :)) From here I’ll let Megan tell you the rest of the story – “We rode our bikes and stopped for a break in a gazebo where we had lunch. I was exhausted from biking and catching my breath. Chris suggested we take a picture together with his phone. We took a few and were looking at them. Then he said- “here’s a good one” and showed me a picture of the ring. I literally didn’t even grasp what was happening. I think I yelled-what is that?? And then he got down on one knee and pulled the ring out of his backpack and proposed. It was perfect and a total surprise.”
Thank you Meagan & Chris for letting us be apart of your beautiful wedding day and your love story!
